Medications
Since you’re here, you should already know that St. Christina's is no ordinary psychiatric institute. It isn’t a rehab, and it isn’t a detention center. It just looks like it is. St. Christina's is a controlled environment where a big shot pharmaceutical company can illegally experiment with new, unapproved medications on oblivious test subjects. But, we like to call them “patients”.
Patients DO NOT and WILL NOT know that they are essentially guinea pigs. Their families don’t know. However, the members of St. Christina's staff do know, and are prevented from speaking of it by those pesky nondisclosure agreements. Basically, use common sense. Staffers won’t be gossiping about sensitive information where they could be overheard, and you’re also expected (nay, required) to keep this information to yourself outside of game play as well. The mystery is half the fun, don’t spoil it. Now, getting to it…
St. Christina's staff doesn’t even know what is in a medication, just what the effects are supposed to be, and what actually happens to the patients who take it. All staff characters should be on the lookout for unusual behavior from the patients, and note that behavior in the patient’s file for review. Testing means testing, St. Christina's wants to know how these medications affect people. Additionally, the only members of staff who know any real information about the drugs are the doctors, nurses, and administration – that is, the people who are actually running the show. Think about it. It doesn’t make sense for the janitor or the hallway security guard to know all the dirty details.
All medications prescribed come from GR Biotech. As such, all medications start with the letter G. The following letter denotes the study group that the subject is placed into, and the number is a random number, 01 through 50.
Antisocial Behaviours - K
Depression/Suicide Risk - F
Drug Abuse - W
Psychiatric Issues - B
Sexual Degeneracy - Z
So, for example, if a character posted an application wherein the character was primarily depressed, their medication would be listed as GF-49 etc. GR Biotech drugs are not yet approved by the FDA. They are blank and usually white, blue or beige, with no distinguishing marks. A psychiatrist may change dosage or medication on the patient chart if behaviour warrants it.

These medications have shown 'negative' side-effects.... >: )
