I have a lifetime of experience working with animals, and thanks to my research work when I was based in the UK I have worked with many different people all around the world. I have excellent people management skills and I helped run my friends pet shop during my gap year between college and university, so I have full understanding of how to manage a business. Whilst I am only fluent in English, I do know some very basic Spanish and I can understand a little Chinese from when I was on a research project with a previous employer trying to see if there are any Chinese River Dolphins still surviving.

How do you feel your previous employment will benefit your ability to perform in the position(s) for which you are applying?:
My work with Hadley has granted me a whole world of knowledge about psychiatric problems and how to work with people suffering from them. I know many of the patients you are taking on from Hadley and am on good working terms with most of the staff. I have experience working with the type of people in your care, and I know that my skills and knowledge will lend themselves perfectly to the roll of pet store owner.

My current place of employment is closing down, but I wish to remain in the company of the collegues I have spent the last year living and working with. I think Green Ridge will be the perfect setting for me, and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that it will present.

Green Ridge Island houses a psychiatric rehabilitation hospital, and as such, living and working amongst those with mental health issues would be typical practice. Are you comfortable with this?:
After working at the Hadley Institute for almost a year, I would say I am completely comfortable working around this type of person.
