Ask my parents, because they're the only ones this makes sense to. They told me that 'we need a change of seenery scenery.' Apparently that means moving to an island. I think it might have something to do with Dex getting in trouble all the time. More than the scenery thing, anyway.

Green Ridge Island houses a psychiatric rehabilitation hospital, and as such, living and working amongst those with mental health issues would be typical practice. Are you comfortable with this?:

My whole name is Calla Rose Friend. I was adopted by Jacinta and Aaron Friend when I was six years old. I don't really remember much before then, but I do remember that it wasn't all that great. My parents were drug addicts.They were afraid that there would be something wrong with me, but their there isn't. I have something, but Jacinta and Aaron say it's not bad. Synesthesia. It's kind of fun, actually. I can't beleive believe everyone can't see orange fives and green sixes and hear blue music. I have a brother named Dexter who's older than me. He's adopted to too. We only get along sometimes. He gets in trouble a lot more than me. I like things like art and anatimy anatomy and sometimes I paint body parts. That kind of worries Jacinta and Aaron. I had friends, but sometimes people made fun of me at school too. My best friend is named Lisa. We made movies together and stuff. I'm going to miss her. I really don't know why we're moving...it's stupid. I'm kind of mad about it.

• We'd just like a bit more information on why Calla and her family are relocating. Where she says 'Ask my parents", could you alter the answer to explain what's going on and why they're here?
