I have worked at the Hadley Institute for Troubled Youth since October 2009. While there, I have been able to complete my nursing qualifications, and have built up a range of experience in dealing with everything from routine medical checkups to full blown life threatening emergencies. I have worked with many of the patients transferring to your facility, and I feel that continuity will help them to adjust to their new surroundings.

I have obtained my qualifications from online classes, with assistance from my colleagues; doctors and nurses alike. I have a wider range of experience than the average nurse, and my experience of leading a department will be a great help in the position of charge nurse.

I would attempt to restrain the patient, through physical or chemical means, without risking my safety or the safety of others. If this proved impossible, I would call for help from colleagues with more appropriate skills than my own in dealing with this kind of situation, while attempting to keep all parties safe.
